Caroline Griffiths
Doctoral Student- Biography
My work is founded on my knoiwledge through my undergraduate bachelor degrees in both public policy and sociology, and has led me to the urban studies institute to pursue intersections in sociology, economics, policy and geography. My interests lie in the sociological perspective and how it informs my research on urban development projects, land use, sustainable initiatives in policy, and the wealth and power dynamics in cities. I am most interested in accessibility and exposure in urban environments and how that effects everything from the hinterlands to the city centers, and hope to work more closely with making Atlanta a more sustainable place to live.
