Dr. Heiman’s areas of interest and expertise include health policy, health equity, health-in-all-policies, and health system transformation.
- Biography
Since joining the GSU School of Public Health in 2017, he has developed course curricula and taught courses on the U.S. healthcare system, health policy, and health-in-all-policies, looking at the health impacts of policies in non-health sectors,including education, housing, transportation, and community development.
He currently directs the new GSU Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) program, an applied public health doctorate program designed to prepare the next generation of public health leaders.
