Michael Black

Michael Black is a Senior Lecturer in the Neuroscience Institute. He represents the Urban Studies Institute as an Executive Committee member of the Greater Atlanta United Nations Regional Centre of Expertise on Education for Sustainable Development (UN RCE on ESD). He also serves on the Georgia State Senate Planning and Development Committee and co-chairs the Senate Sustainability Committee. A graduate of the Institute for Georgia Environmental Leadership, Georgia Academy for Economic Development, and EPA’s Environmental Justice Academy, Dr. Black assists on metro Atlanta projects and plans to make our world and cities more equitable, resilient, and sustainable.
