- Biography
For the past 3 years, Stephen has been managing a socially conscious staffing and recruiting firm in Atlanta helping refugees and foreign-born workers find work throughout the metro region. Prior to that, he was a project director for Thriving Cities, a University of Virginia research project that became its own social impact firm helping communities and cities build civic capacity. Stephen is interested in how businesses and other economic actors can better relate to and serve disadvantaged or marginalized communities and how spatial and power dynamics within cities and metros affect the relationship between communities and businesses.
